Red Beach Olympics Day





The Red Beach School Olympics was on Wednesday. We had to jump as far as a frog. I hit the big red target. I couldn't jump over the elastics. I jumped over the cone and I got yellow sand in my cut. I liked the soccer. I didn't get a go in the hockey. It was fun. - Cameron

Fantastic Olympics
On Wednesday all of the school did the Olympics because England is doing the Olympics this year. I really enjoyed the soccer game. My mum came to watch me. I did all of the exciting games. At first I was scared, then I loved it so much. - Alesha

Olympics Day
Yesterday it was the best day because we got to do lots of things like dribbling, jumping kicking and long jump. It was fantastic. My favourite thing was the obstacle course. We had to go on the wobbly pieces of wood.Then we went on the red ladder and we went in the big fat tunnel. After we went down the big slow steep slide. We had a great time. - Tess

Olympics Day
Yesterday Red Beach School had an Olympics Day. Room 25 went to high jump first.Then we had to go to shot put where we had to throw the bean bag. Next we went to the playground and we had to balance on the side of the playground edging and we had to crawl under the tunnel. I felt too happy. - Keegan

Electric Circuits






Yesterday we made a circuit with electricity. We had to attach the wires on to the metal screws. It was really hard to open the crocodile clips on the wires because we had to push the springy bit as hard as we could. Then the light bulb worked. I was so excited. – Adam

Yesterday we made electricity with a battery case, crocodile clips and a wire, a light bulb and a battery. I was nervous. – Rico

Yesterday we made electricity move in a circuit. Electricity is very dangerous. Electricity can make lights work and computers work. Electricity is very powerful. It was scary. Some things don’t have electricity. - Alexis

Our Wonderful Walkathon

On Friday it was the Walkathon day. Firstly we got on a bendy bus or coach to go to Shakespear Park. Then as soon as we got there I had morning tea. Next we had a long walk and on the way I found a dead lizard. Sarah took it home in her bag. Afterwards I had lunch and played some games. Finally we had gone all the way around and I got an ice block, yum! I had fun. - Elizabeth

On Friday I went to the Walkathon at Shakespear Park. There was a ginormous hill at the start. We went all the way to the Lookout. We had lunch there. It was fun playing at the top. I did walk with a group. It was a long way but we took a bus some of the way. - Alesha

On Friday I went to Shakespear Park to do the Walkathon. First wer went up the hill and down the hill. -Keenan

Jam Sandwiches

Room 25 have been making jam sandwiches. We had to do this step by step. We are also learning how to use time words. See what we did!

How to make a jam sandwich
First grab a plate, then get two pieces of bread and some butter and some jam. Afterwards butter the bread. Next you put the jam on. Lastly put the piece of bread on. - Caleb

First we got out the jam, butter, plate, knife and bread. Next we got the knife and spread the butter and jam on the bread. Then you get the knife and cut it. Finally we eat it! - Cameron

Static Electricity





Room 25 have been investigating static electricity!
WOW! Learning is fun!

Yesterday Room 25 were learning about static electricity. We got a balloon. We used wool to rub the balloon. The we got wool and polystyrene balls and paper. Those things stuck on our hair. It surprised me and I was happy because the balloon could pick up things. - Tess

Yesterday we made static electricity. we rubbed the wool on the balloons. It stuck on the balloons. It stuck to our hair. Our hairs went up, up, up. - Sarah

We used balloons and wool and rubbed them together. We rubbed it on our hair. It stuck to our hair. - Ike

Yesterday we were learning about static electricity.I rubbed the balloon on my hair and the balloon was stuck on my hair. I was surprised that it did that, it was cool. - Luka

Yesterday Room 25 had balloons. We rubbed them on our head then it was stuck on our head. We also rubbed it with a ball of wool and then we stuck it in the polystyrene and the paper. We made a big mess on the floor and table. It surprised me. - Emily F

Yesterday I made static electricity. We blew a balloon up and we rubbed the balloon then the paper stuck to the balloon like a magnet. It was exciting. - Rainers
